The primary purpose of the Fair is to provide a place to display livestock, agriculture, crafts and the like in a safe, family-oriented environment.  The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair is a special annual event of very limited duration, with a specific objective of providing thousands of attendees an educational and entertainment experience, serving a main audience of family and youth, in a safe, family-oriented environment.


Here's a few Fair Tips to consider when planning your day:

Check the weather report: Be prepared with sunscreen and visors on warm, sunny days. Have a jacket or sweatshirt for cool evenings. A poncho or umbrella, is a good idea if skies turn gray. 

Wear Comfortable shoes: With over 30 acres of activities and the fairgrounds being located on a hillside, there is plenty of walking in store. 

Leave coolers at home. No bottles, cans, coolers or picnic baskets are permitted on the fairgrounds. 

Bring your camera.  There will be plenty of memorable moments, so bring your camera or video camera and capture the special day forever. Please note: Cameras and video cameras may be prohibited during certain entertainment events. 

Leave your pets at home.  With the exception of SERVICE ANIMALS, pets are not permitted on the fairgrounds. DO NOT leave them in your vehicle.

Parking is free at the fairgrounds. Be sure to lock your vehicle, and take note of where you have parked. Take a minute to familiarize yourself with your surroundings when you arrive to avoid confusion when you depart. When driving in the parking lot, please drive with caution and watch for “walking traffic”. 

Once inside the fair, please make sure to pick up a Daily Schedule at the Information booth. This is the best way to plan your day and locate all the activities there are to see and do at the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair.  

For your Safety & Health, we ask everyone wash his or her hands before leaving the restrooms, animal areas, and barns, especially before eating. There are hand-sanitizing stations located through-out the fairgrounds and food- court area.

No weapons are permitted at the Fair for the safety of all of our fair guests.  Any items confiscated at the metal detectors will be disposed of immediately.  No items will be held for pick-up when leaving the grouns.   Be sure to check out our Policies on the General Information Tab.

Pets are not permitted on the Fairgrounds.
Do not leave them in your vehicle. 

Emotional Support animals are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. 
ONLY SERVICE animals as defined by the Americans with Disability Act are allowed on our facilities. 

The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair Association has implemented the following safety guidelines to attend the upcoming 2021 Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair, opening Thursday, February 25, 2021: Masks are encouraged in all buildings on the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fairgrounds. Masks are not required outdoors where social distancing can be maintained. We strongly recommend all guests wear a facemask to attend. Follow all directional signage that accommodates for a socially distanced capable environment. Frequently use the hand sanitizing stations that will be readily accessible throughout the fairgrounds. Be considerate of others and follow social distancing protocols of those not in your group. Adherence to the guidelines will assist in our efforts to present a safe and successful fair. COVID-19 Exposure is an inherent risk in any public locations where people are present: Guests should only attend after evaluating their own health risks. If you are sick or do not feel well, please plan to visit us another day. The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair Association cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. Purchase or acceptance of a ticket, pass or ride band and entry on to the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fairgrounds constitutes your understanding of these risks and your willingness to undertake the risk of exposure. No refunds will be given following your entry on to the Fairgrounds.
