The primary purpose of the Fair is to provide a place to display livestock, agriculture, crafts and the like in a safe, family-oriented environment.  The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair is a special annual event of very limited duration, with a specific objective of providing thousands of attendees an educational and entertainment experience, serving a main audience of family and youth, in a safe, family-oriented environment.   

The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair will be following current CDC Guidelines.

Fair Booth Theme - THE RED,WHITE, & BLUE


Booth Competition is open to any current Lee, Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, and Hendry County 4-H / FFA Club

Booths will be judged on overall Education, Originality, Appearance, and Use of Fair Booth Theme

1st Place - Blue Rosette, $100

2nd Place - Red Rosette, $75

3rd Place - White Rosette, $50


Per 4-H, individual projects within the booths will not be judged this year.

   Youth Chicken BBQ Cook-Off 

This event is NOT a 4-H/FFA Event - winners will not advance 

This competition is open to all Lee, Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades and Hendry County Youth by age division - Deadline to enter is Monday, February 1, 2021

Cook-Off will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 3:00 pm 


Junior -------Ages 8 to 10

Intermediate ---- Ages 11 to 13

Senior------------Ages 14 - 18

 Youth Hay Bale Decorating Competition 


This competition is open to youth clubs in Lee County - can be school club or community club. 

  • Bales are sponsored in part by Sweet Cypress Ranch.
  • Each club receives one (1) bale
  • Entries will be judged in four parts - construction, creativity, eye appeal, and use of materials. 
  • Decoration days:  Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24 - 9am to 7pm and must stay in place for the duration of the Fair, to be 'undressed' on Sunday, March 7th, after 4pm
  • Registration Deadline is Friday, February 12, 2021
